The Vision

As Rwanda quadruples its medical workforce to over 58,000 professionals by 2028 under the 4x4 Healthcare Reform, the challenge shifts from quantity to consistency. Ikaze Service Rwanda is a standardized, behavior-based intervention ensuring every patient interaction results in clinical adherence, return-visit compliance, and institutional trust.

The Problem

1.

High Attrition: Significant Loss to Follow-Up (LTFU) in chronic and maternal care programs.

2.

Low Adherence: Passive discharge communication leading to misunderstood dosages and schedules.

3.

Service Gaps: Inconsistent intake protocols that diminish patient trust and satisfaction.

The Ikaze Toolkit

A resource-light, zero-infrastructure toolkit standardizing the "soft skills" of healthcare through four behavioral pillars:

HEAL Intake

Structured greeting & empathy protocol

Teach-Back

Mandatory comprehension verification

Wait-Time Mgmt

Proactive rounding & communication

Barrier Screening

Identify obstacles to follow-up
